Possible scam email

I recently applied for compensation with Jet2.com and received the email below. As there’s nobody to ring from Jet2 and no reply to email I thought I’d check on here.

Email reads:

From: eu261claims@jet2.com
Jet2/1171388

Dear Mr ******

Thank you for your correspondence.

We’re very sorry for the disruption to your flight. Having reviewed your claim, we confirm that you are eligible for compensation under EC Regulation 261/2004 (the Regulation).

To enable us to arrange payment, please provide your bank details (account holder name, account number, and sort code) by replying to this email. Please note that we are unable to process BACS payments to credit card accounts.

If you live outside the UK and wish to receive payment via IBAN, please provide your SWIFT code, IBAN number, and the payment currency associated with your account.

Once the details are received, we will provide a summary of any payment(s). Please note that a passenger may not be entitled to compensation if they fall outside the scope of the Regulation or if another exemption applies.

We look forward to assisting you further once we receive these details.

Yours sincerely,

Legal Services Team

Is this a scam?

Thanks

Why do you think it is a scam? How will you receive your compensation if you do not provide payment details?

If you reply to the genuine email domain jet2.com you should be pretty safe.

Do you have a secondary CA that you can give the details of? A Chase Bank account would let you create a new one instantly.

Suspicious if you have never flown Jet2 or have not made a flight delay claim.

If however you recently claimed for a delay, it is just a email asking for information so that they can pay you.
