We lived in Dalgety Bay in the 70s, it was a much smaller place then, quite sprawling now.  Hard to believe that there is no way the council can enforce a clear up, all that stuff piled up out back is likely attracting vermin, and is probably a fire risk too, I do feel sorry for the neighbours.   Total eyesore!

So, is this actually your house, or just a click-bait discussion thread that would be better placed in the Discussion Time area of the forum?
I guess you could say I am involved in a minor capacity, since... hang on, a bludy tusk has fallen off.

You can contact the council.  If the rubbish is causing a health hazard they can force the owners to remove it.  If it’s just untidy then the council can’t do anything about it.

The plastic police are giving out lots of fines recently where I live, the police 'community wardens' division also publicly 'name and shame' fined houses on the police page and local facebook page.

Some houses hit honestly dont even look that bad, some are just a few old past their best outdoor kids toys etc...

Our old house got hit with a pre-fine warning from them for having Ivy up the front which they claimed 'makes the area look untidy'. We didn't plant the Ivy its always been there (a mild nuisance to us as it kept trying to come in windows/doors or stick the door shut) but 'looks' wise I think it was quite nice and English country cottage like growing up the old sandstone.
    Blimey! Sublime/Ridiculous!

Not a bad solution, but if I recall earlier reports from years ago the chap received a substantial payoff/ package when finiancal services industry was going through hard times and restructuring, he seemed quite pleased at the time.

It seems to me "the devil finds work for idle hands" is coming into play now.

I like the mammoth but how on earth has he been able to keep the pirate ship as it overlooks so many gardens and into many bedroom windows.  A kids tree house is not allowed to do that.

    One stray firework.

We've one of these type of gardens locally.
People were up in arms originally about the value of houses but nothing has been mentioned recently.
Tho from looking at street view it doesn't seem as bad as it once was.

    This house is in Carshalton
