I had two PCP with Toyota. I complained directly to them. The response I got was
They did not pay any commission to the dealer for my introduction to them.  And the final response was. Because no commission was paid to the dealer for my introduction to them then they do no uphold my complaint.
Is that the end of it for me.or are they just being clever with the use of words.

They did not pay commission, therefore it cannot have been missold on the basis of commission.

Added to which, anyone who is due compensation must be contacted by their lender once the scheme is fully set up as per the court ruling and regulator.

They aren't being clever with words.

They could be subject to massive penalties for giving incorrect information.

As above, if anything else comes to light it is almost certain that the FCA will require the lenders to contact the consumer and provide redress automatically if that is what is deemed necessary.

That's the end of it for you unless things change.
