Olyndra London Online Order

Hi all wondering if anyone can help me with an issue I have. See I saw this online company on facebook selling some lovely looking jumpers so I ordered a couple in mid October. Delivery was delayed but they arrived a couple of weeks later at the end of October. I initially was quite happy with them however I had one of them on and I noticed that the stitching had completely come away down the side of the jumper! So I thought right I am getting these both sent back. So I went on the website and it said that I had to send an email to request for the refund and they would then send me instructions in order to send it back. Still waiting now had nothing at all from them and you cant even call them. I worried as its been over a week now and I am stuck with two jumpers I dont want to keep as they are not very well made. What can you do when you cant find out the return address and the only method of contacting them is by emailing them?
Please advise further
thanks

Lisa

The AI review summary isn't exactly glowing

"Online reviews for Olyndra London are overwhelmingly negative, with customers frequently reporting issues such as very long delivery times, poor-quality clothing, and incorrect sizing. Many reviewers also state that the company is unresponsive to customer service inquiries, does not deliver items as advertised, and that returns must be sent to China at the customer's expense. It appears to be a scam or a company that uses deceptive marketing by claiming to be based in London while shipping from China."

As it's a drop shipping company, based in China you should probably give up hope of being able to get a refund.

Sorry, it's probably best to bin the jumpers and learn the lesson.

No such company registered with Companies House.
Web search suggests foreign company, hiding its real identity.
Review sites almost all agree they’re a scam.

This an all too familiar story of a Chinese company trying to suggest they are in the UK. You definitely won’t get  any returns information and definitely no prepaid shipping label.   Never ever buy something through a facebook ad.  If it’s something you really want search for a genuine website and read reviews and check where the company is located.

I agree with the above, I didn't even need to read the whole post before coming to the conclusion that this was a Far East company - 'facebook' and 'advert' were enough.

Unfortunately I would resign yourself to the fact that the money is lost and you are stuck with the items. Even if you do get a return address in the Far east it will cost a lot to send them back and the tracking will never show as delivered- so you will be out further by the amount of the return postage.

if you want to waste a bit of time to try and recoup a little, then keep on at them for a return and refund, quite often they will offer a small percentage of the original amount back if you opt to keep the items , sometimes they even pay it.

Sadly you have lost that money.

These companies come up on a regular basis, even more so around this time of year...
    A couple of pointers.
Avoid purchases on social media, without reading T/C & Returns etc. Where is their physical address & a phone number. If Not showing walk away.

Perhaps the biggest giveaway of these sites. Is they always tend to use a UK City/Town in the name, how many retailer do you know that do that?
