I put my claim in and the finance agreement attached. I did exactly as Martin advised. Got multiple letters every 28 days blah blah. But today I got a letter saying no commission was paid to the dealer. i find it hard to believe that NO commission was paid by Black Horse to Jaguar for a new F Pace. Any one else think they are being hood winked?

They won't be lying, the penalty would be too severe.

You can ask them for a full breakdown in writing. You have the right to request how the dealer and lender were paid. Use a simple wording like: “Please confirm in writing whether any commission, fee or incentive was paid to the dealer and provide evidence of this.”
If they still say no commission was paid, you can raise it with the Financial Ombudsman. Keep copies of all letters. You are not doing anything wrong by asking. You are checking the facts.

There is no such right. If they still say no commission was paid, you can raise it with the Financial Ombudsman. What a complete and utter waste of time and money. But today I got a letter saying no commission was paid to the dealer. i find it hard to believe that NO commission was paid by Black Horse to Jaguar for a new F Pace. Why?
A common business model was a commercial agreement between the lender and the dealer group that didn't involve individual commission. Especially with the larger groups and later agreements.Any one else think they are being hood winked? No. The last firm that tried faking records was fined over £20m. It sent a message to other firms.
