EE network - Best Piggyback MVNO Network

HI.
I'm currently coming to the end of my BT Mobile SIM only contract and they seem to be phasing out BT mobile and only offering EE SIM only. I've been looking at a few offers from EE and also any other that piggy back their network as it's the best for me for coverage. 

Any view on 1p Mobile, Lyca, spusu and Mozillion would be gratefully welcomed. I currently have a 50gb Sim deal from BT mobile with EU roaming with no cap. Looking for a like for like deal Mozillion seem to be the nearest match but I've never heard of them.

EE are offering Unlimited No Frills for £11.50 per month but mixed a maximum speed of 10Mbps. I'm not sure what this would mean for Youtube, Banking, Google Maps etc

Monthly contract or 1-2 year term? If the former you could just try it and then decide.

Do you need unlimited? Any cheaper deals for less data?

In any case, that's a good deal for EE, don't often see plans that cheap.

TBH, unless you are streaming live football matches in 4k you probably wouldn't be inconvenienced by that slow speed.

It's a 24 month contract that goes up from £11.50 to £15 next April then £18 April year after. I don't need unlimited. My current BT mobile plan is 50gb. 

I'm with EE for broadband and TV after being moved from BT when my contract ended. 

There are other plans with EE on offer without the 10mbps speed cap but more expensive

Personally I would avoid Lyca. They had their database hacked a while ago and users reported that customer service was dreadful. I don't know if it has improved but you should research them before committing.

Of those you list, I think 1p Mobile would be top of my list (but a bit pricey) then Spusu with their rolling monthly contract. I think Mozillion tend to be long term contracts but I have limited knowledge of them.

Looks like you're getting a decent discount for having EE broadband. 

30% increase in cost after 6 months isn't too friendly.

I agree with @Neil49, 1pMobile over the others, have always worked well for me, their 50GB/month deal is £10, no contract, no speed cap, Wi-fi calling etc.

I use 1p Mobile, £10/month 50 GB. The speeds and overseas roaming suit me, especially roaming in the Channel Islands.

Like many of the virtual networks, it’s a 30 day “non contract” deal, which means you can change to another provider at the drop of a hat. You can also increase, or decrease, the cost every month if you want, although it’s only a saving of perhaps £2/month.

It's a 1 month EE one contract at 11.50 not 24 months & would go to 14 then 16.50. No idea where you got that info from

Those contracts are negotiable, what's available will vary from day to day. Just because you've seen a better deal.....

Unless you're an on the phone to customer service every two minutes type it's another vote for 1p Mobile here. Their bundles are reasonable, and their online account service isn't pretty but has so many self service options you probably won't know what to do with them all.
