ID Phone contract to end of month- get new sim only early ?

My ID contract is not due to finish to  28th November - leaving now means £62 fee. The lebara deal on MSE is due to finish this week £3.45 month  5gb. Can I sign up to that now, and when they send the sim not use it till 29th November when the ID runs out . I could get the PAC code now as it lasts 30 days. I need to keep my number - what Im not sure of is how long Lebara would give me to transfer  my  phone number to them after starting a contract with htem. I must have got the new phone 2 years ago when BLACK FRIDAY deals where on - would it be better to wait till 28th again and see what  deals come up - Im not sure how good a deal this  - seems pretty cheap to me.

If I remember correctly you have 15 days to activate or it won't work.

But I am confused, you can give notice on your ID Mobile contract 30 days before you want to leave can't you? Or request PAC now and not use it until the 28th unless someone else can advise better.

Hi  firstly thank you for taking the time to read and  helpful comments.
 Lebara finishes  on the 7th and 15 days leeway  gives me only to 22nd.
You are right though can get PAC now.
I sent the code INFO to the number 85075 and it quoted £62 to leave now with a penalty of  £27.30.
So whoever I go with if you are right about the 15 days I will  not be able to get a new deal until the 13th November at the earliest.
Is there a benefit in telling them Im leaving if the penalty is so high  anyway - there is no one to talk to at ID. Or are you supposed to give them advance warning that you will be leaving when the contract comes to an end. ( I was on rolling sim before I went to them so didnt have this  to deal with ) .
