uSwitch power hours

First I would like to say 👋as I'm new to this forum.
Has anyone done the uSwitch 5 hours weekend free electric before? I've signed up for it but notice that if you are already opted in to a similar one with your energy company you have to opt out of that because  you are automatically registered with uSwitch and can't be in more that one at a time. (Hope this makes sense 😃).

Welcome :)  Have a read of this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6633560/uswitch-25-hours-free-electricity

As far as I can see you can do the power hours without issue, you just have to opt out of Reduce and Earn if you are with another supplier for their demand flexibility service offering (e.g. Savings Sessions with Octopus).

[That said, my own results are still 'calculating' from Saturday so I'm not entirely confident about that.]
  • I am with Octopus, so how do I actually go about opting out of the Octopus Saving Session and once I've opted out will there be any issue  opting  back into them again.
  • You don’t, you opt in for each saving session individually

  • No sorry I meant to say if I want to take part in the uSwitch session how do I opt out of the Octopus energy owner ups.
  • Should have said Power ups
  • Aren't the power ups the free electric sessions? Those aren't affected by the USwitch thing I don't believe - just the Savings Sessions.
