O2 Price Increase April 2026

This is very interesting about not being able to get a PAC code for an O2 to O2 contract - I have just called O2 to try and get a better deal on my sim only. I am out of contract. Before calling I had seen a new customer deal for £7 a month less than what was available to me as a current customer. I quoted them their Fair Price Policy where existing customers would receive the same deals as new ones. After much to-ing and fro-ing where he didn’t seem to know about this policy, he agreed to the lower payment but I would need to have a new sim and then transfer my existing number! He was adamant this new contract could not just be added to my number so I have decided to go elsewhere to what turns out to be a better deal. So much for wanting to keep their loyal customers!

Verajones, text for your PAC and take your business elsewhere. If you want O2 coverage go to GiffGaff or similar. 30 day rolling “non contract” avoids being stuck in a 2 year contract.
