NHS App problem - flickers, logs in/out every ten seconds at times

Hello. As above. I first noted this a week ago, and it has got worse.
I am using an iPhone, not changed my phone since I've had the app.
The app at times, has trouble logging in as well. Face recognition
password used
FYI, I have banking app's, cctv app, alarm app, which I regularly us
and they do not have a problem. Today, when trying to use the NHS app
and getting these problems, I logged into the other apps, all working
fine. Therefore, there is a good internet connection.
I've looked on Google, nhs app, nhs websites for help
but other than them saying "switch on/of, check net connection" which
I've done it many times, not sure what to do.
NHS app version 5.1.1 (on the app, not to say how
to update it etc) Thanks.

The most recent version of the app on my iPhone is now 5.3.0. Can you not update yours further? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
