Extended travel cover

I have an annual worldwide policy with a max trip length of 45 days. I am going away for 52 days. Present insurer will not provide cover for the difference. Anyone know an insurer who will?

Doesnt work that way, your current insurers will simply not cover the trip as its over 45 days long, its not that they'll cover the first 45 days but not the last 7. 

Now if you had booked a 45 days holiday and then whilst out there decided you wanted to extend it another 7 days then there are specialist insurers that can deal with that. 

You will need to buy a single trip policy that covers it, also consider buying an annual trip policy which covers a 52 day trip and ask your current insurers what the refund would be if you cancelled it... may be cheaper than having both the current annual and a new single trip

As MyRealNameToo says, you need a policy to cover the whole 45 days, not just the difference.
