Why don't you get an annual policy?

Annual policy should do the job.  They generally have a 90 or 100 day max trip length.

Other option would be a backpacker style policy as they often go up to a whole year away. You dont actually have to be backpacking, just make sure the rest of the limits are sufficient for your needs. They dont always have the best cover for your personal possessions but a half decent home insurance policy can have world wide PP included

Staysure is 50 days but can be extended to 100 days if you are under 70. AA is 62 days, Cover for you is 62 days, Virgin Money Gold is 94 days, Aviva can be extended to 60 or 90 days, PostOffice can be extended to 60 days, Multitrip is 60 days, Gigasure supreme is 60 days, GreatCover Platinum is 60 days

Should be enough to get you started

Yes, call them.  You often need to do that for anything which isn't 'standard'.

Often it will be by phone for those that offer extension, else go with a provider that already offers 60+ days and then the off the shelf product meets your needs.
