O2 price rise from April 2026 - said £1.80, now £2.50

ML requested feedback on how any haggling with O2 re the recent, unexpected increase in price rises next year had gone. I have just spoken to an agent who told me that they have no discretion at all to reduce the increase back down to £1.80 and appeared unconcerned about losing the business. I will certainly be cancelling with O2 as a result.

While ML goes in with good intentions. This is another example of taking something & making it worse.
In reality it should of been a simple you sign up for X period @ X rate & that is the price you pay for that term of the contract. No mid term increases.
Let the companies set a price for the contract length.Life in the slow lane1
