But double check your car's V5 form is up to date for your current correct address.
Did you do this? Current address on your V5? It's the address dvla gave to PE for you, the one PE posted your pcn and reminder notices to (which you didn't receive). If V5 shows an old address you'd need to action, the dvla AND PE.

FYI debt agencies can do a trace to find your present address but one mustn't assume they will share it with the parking operator.

My issue is why was i not contacted by ParkingEye it’s their word against mine!  We did park there happy to pay a reasonable charge - are there any templates here that i can use?

    Its not just their word

Parking Eye will have posted an NTK PCN letter to the address listed on the DVLA database,  as would other authorities,  Parking companies etc

Plus they sent reminders too, by post

The fact that you didn't receive them is almost always the fault of the Registered Keeper,  typically due to not updating their V5c log book after moving  ( a legal requirement   )

Not receiving paperwork is no defence

My point is that they will have copies, dates,  the address they sent the letters to,  so it's not just their word, they have evidence too, they always do,  is their daily business,  it's their normal,  it's their Modus Operandi , M.O.

Any templates are in the announcements at the top of the forum,  especially the NEWBIES sticky thread,  plus the Successful Complaints thread too

Was it correct on the date of the incident   ?  Get the V5c log book out and check the date of the last change,  does it precede the alleged contravention date  ?

Can you think of any reason why 2 letters from them would go astray  ?

Believe me,  we have seen numerous cases of letters going to old addresses or astray

The V5 has our correct address we were the 1st owner of the car / been at same address for 30 years.  I cannot see any reason not to get the PCN and reminders?

Doesn't matter anyway but it is odd.

Play the game like everyone else here does, once DCB Legal send a Claim Form ... which is EXACTLY what you want.

Why not just read any of the c700 cases linked in Umkomaas' DCB Legal Discontinuances thread?

And read the NEWBIES thread and the Template Defence thread (which we won't link, as nobody ever needs pinned 'announcement' info threads linked because they are stuck at the top of p1 of the forum).

Read around. So easy!  Easier than appeal would have been. You won't pay a penny. :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
