Leaving O2 under contract
Hi,
Recently due to an upgrade in the area, the O2 service is rubbish!
I have 10 months left on the contract and I understand that I can move within the next 30 days.
Do I need to call O2 to let them know or can I just switch provider?
I'm also looking at Lebara, who my hubby switched to (easily) unlike some that I've heard.
Vodafone has a good network in my town too. Also, it looks like they provide some basis EU data roaming, which I've always enjoyed with O2.

suggest you read this On an O2 mobile contract? Your bill will rise 40% more than it told you0

Unfortunately, that doesn’t tell me what I need to do if I want to cancel.I’ll try calling O2 but had to give up twice as I can’t remember my security passwords0

Log into you O2 account online - you can retrieve your PAC code from there.
Sign up to Lebara - give them the PAC code when the sim has been activated.
The transfer of number will automatically end you previous contract with O2.
This is my understanding, and this is how I will be doing the same!0
