I believe it's possible to log into the Santander app using your Cahoot details to get some of (but possibly not all of) the online banking features you get via a browser.

I use Cahoot via the Santander app on my Android phone. The first time you just login with the usual details and subsequently I'm using a PIN. No OTP to login.

    Works with biometrics too.

There's an issue if you want access Santander and Cahoot via the app on the same device - you have to re-register the app each time you switch between them - makes it rather impractical.

Solution is to use a second instance of the app in your device's Secure Folder (if you have one) or use a second device.
  • Thankyou for all your replies.
I've decided it's all too much off a faff and I've opened a zopa account instead
