    If you do not have a smartphone you would need the physical card with magnetic strip.

    My antique physical card has a magnetic strip, do others not ?  Or is it that you are trying to use the keyfob card ?

    Used a key fob y'day to unlock the zapper at Sainsburys, linked to my Nectar account OK. Used Nectar points for payment but used QR on phone rather than fob so can't verify if viable payment method or not.

    No like you my physical card is an antigue one, with what I thought was a magnetic strip dark brown in colour, this is why I cannot see a new card working. Now you have the option to lock and unlock your points in your account, to prevent fraudulent use, would have thought this would be enough, and this still stems down to Sainsburys fault.
