    Years ago I had issues leaving EE, clarified in advance at what point I needed to give notice to leave at the end of my fixed contract, gave notice at the point they said (1 month before end date), and they were adamant that I had to still pay an extra month beyond the end date to cover my 1 months notice! I can't recall how it ended up now. 

    Can highly recommend Giffgaff for good value, monthly, sim only deals. I pay £8pm with them, never run out of data (don't even use half but I'm a light user) or minutes.
