DCB legal claim form

So a little update… I’ve had DCB ring me 3 times for a ‘without prejudice’ chat and offer to settle out of court for £280 which I declined.
I also had mediation yesterday, which I offered the £2.50 which was the difference between what I paid and the van minimum charge which was buried in the small print, they offered to settle for £180 (which is £100 less than the without prejudice calls) I declined and said I’m willing to pay the damages suffered, due to their insufficient and misleading signage. They replied with it’s the drivers responsibly to read the signs including the small print and pay the correct fee… so I guess I now wait until I hear off the court with a hearing date.

Correct, wait for your court order from your local civil court that you nominated in your N180 DQ document
