Really useful post. Thank you. Interesting that OP hasn't responded to any of this, but hopefully they will discontinue drinking water from a source which could make them seriously ill. Might also be an idea to improve general hygiene by throwing out old toothbrushes and that pile of used razors - and cleaning the sink.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

Yes there is a shared kitchen, I guess there is a tap in there, i dont know, i seem to remember there was when i was shown round prior to moving in.....What sort of chemicals might be in the "not for drinking" tap's water?
I also have a small shower in the room. So i guess i could get water from that...but i guess thats from  just the same water supply as the tap that i show.(?)
Pigeons defacating in loft tank perhaps

My parents old house had bats in the loft.
Every so often, one would find it's way through a gap in the tank cover (they're small, like mice with wings) and would fall into the tank & drown.
We'd only find out when bits of fur started coming out with the hot water ...
    We had that too 🤢

I've contributed to a few of the OP's threads, and we rarely hear of any conclusion from the OP. It's a little disappointing considering how much effort others put in to helping with their problems.
