Sky 10%/CPI increases

In the last 12 months I had the price increase in March plus a £5 discount expired in September. Im fairly certain this hasnt breached Skys own 10% maximum increase (or the CPI if its the higher of the two). I'm I right in thinking that? My minimum term contract started in late February. I checked with Sky who stated that the 10% takes into account your whole package including add ons. I thought it was the base price. Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Hey
Log into your online account/your contract/packages as it details the contract ie what you pay and
when discounts/contract become a rolloing contract/etc.
If you were told differently and are certain about this, you can challenge them and ask them
to listen to the recording - ie if you bought over the phone.
We always negotiate over the phone.

Discounts expiring aren't included as it's not a price rise (even if you are paying more). You need to contact them and see if you can get the discount back or if it's a rolling monthly add-on, cancel it if you don't want to pay it. I'd never agree to a contract if some discounts ended mid contract as they have all the leverage then.NeillB said:In the last 12 months I had the price increase in March plus a £5 discount expired in September.
