Parkingeye - hospital appointment PCN

Hi All,

I thought I'd check with you before I do something stupid.

Went for MRI appointment on the 11th and parked for 20 minutes at the staff and patients bay.

I received a PCN from Parkingeye by post yesterday.

I suspect the clinic has a terminal inside where you enter the car registration, but I wasn't aware, since the MRI unit is actually located in the carpark and I didn't even enter the building.

I cannot find any phone number or email address for the practice to ask them to cancel the PCN. Do I use the standard appeal template and submit to Parkingeye in this case?

I've learned that being honest and reasonable with them is not an option, so I'm asking for some guidance.

Thanks!

Was the MRI unit in a hospital car park, if so, contact PALS at the hospital and ask them to have the PCN cancelled.

Yes, it was. Not sure what PALS is, but I will research.

Just checked, there isn't any email or phone number for PALS either.

You might have to op into the hospital and find the PALS desk - be careful not to pick up another PCN whilst there!

I appreciate your suggestion, but are there any other recommendations? It's a polyclinic, not a big hospital, I doubt there are these desks. It's not a short journey for me either.

    Thanks, I will try that!

Thought it had to be practice-specific.

Can somebody please advise what to do?

The contact details above are for Manchester. I am in London and the polyclinic I visited doesn't have a phone number or PALS details.

Post redacted pictures of the front and back of the NTK PCN letter,  leaving ALL dates and times showing,  and the location too, because the London location wasn't mentioned , so give us the full name,  address and postcode

Complain about that pcn to the clinic or manager or CEO, of that facility

Ideally post pictures of the signage on that private property too

Chances are that you should have registered the VRM at reception on the day,  so not doing so caused the pcn

Yes, I assume there is a VRM inside the building.

The MRI unit was in the parking, so I didn't even enter the building to know it's there.

I will post the letter if it helps, but I cannot find any contact details for the clinic and going physically back there is currently not an option. I also contacted PALS that supposedly cover that area and they got back to me saying they do not. There is no phone number or email I can use to get in touch with relevant people and the time is ticking.

Can I simply appeal the PCN?
