So far this month I have just had to buy milk and SR flour - unfortunately had run out of both so had to go to the local shop which is a bit more expensive.
£2.90/300
Lunch is some leftover soup out of the freezer and I am out for tea but this doesn't come out of the grocery budget as I have a separate pot for treats.

Ok just checked my spends:
£23.19 Amazon (mostly medication and some air fryer liners)
£5.96 Milk and More (4 pints of oat milk)
£72.27 Tesco (weekly shop - included 1 bottle of wine)
£16.17 Oddbox (small veg box)
So that's £117.59 of my £250. My 'month' runs to 25th November.'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain'6 -

Okay, I’ve had a stab at calculating my budget for this month and I’m going to return to thinking in weekly sets. 70/week x 4 weeks = £280
£280 + £70 for bulk / holiday freezer stock up = £350 total.
Let’s see how I get on with that.
EDIT: I've also updated the budgets to here.

I have the first spend of the month to report this evening. £4.75 at M & S for bananas, avocados, a red onion, and a pack of chicken leg quarters.
£4.75 / £70 weekly budget spent. £65.25 remaining until Nov 7.
£275.25 budget and £70 bulk budget remaining.
I’ll slide over to Lidl possibly mid week to get more eggs and fruit.

First grocery shop of November.
I checked some prices and will have to go to Asda for a few things.
I bought SR flour, wholewheat fusilli, tomato paste, milk x2, evap, black pudding, carrots, mini bananas and basic oranges, the mushrooms were on offer, the German ground coffee was from the middle aisles at £2.29, so worth a try.£13.60 spent out of £150.
(Not in the food budget, but I thought the white amaryllis was a good price at £3.99.)

Echoing the thanks to @elsiepac for many years of support and to @JingsMyBucket for taking up the mantle!
I changed jobs today! which comes with a different pay routine and have also invested in a delivery saver with ASDA given that I will have less time than usual to do the usual shopping and fit in the children's extra curriculars etc. This means I have secured a recurring Wednesday night slot and am easing in to the slightly different timetable. I've also made sure I can turn off all substitutions which is what has mostly bothered me about online shopping in the past!
With 4 Wednesday in November please could I be put down for a budget of £300 that gives me a £75 a week average for our family of four (2 adults, 2 children aged 4 and 11) and also going to be including most of the pet supplies other than the dogs kibble which I buy in bulk.
Spent today; £9.17 on milk, bread and some reduced lunch bits as I didn't shop last week (even though it was half term!) and this weeks delivery is coming tomorrow rather than Wednesday so will update once that goes through.************************************
