car finance misselling question

Purchased a car in 2008 on finance via the dealer with GE Money, I have all the paperwork etc.
GE Money were brought out/Taken over by I think Santander, can I still register a claim? If i can who with what is left of GE Money? or whoever brought that part of the business, in which case can any one confirm who it would be with (Santander?)

Depends on what actually happened... if they sold the business to Santander who then just renamed it then Santander is your man. Do you have your original agreement? If you do it will hopefully have the company number (which never changes) and you can see what its called, who owns it and if it still exists on Companies House0
