G24 (DCB legal) - notice of transfer of proceedings. Advice needed

Hi all,
First off, apologies if this isn't correct etiquette, but I'm looking for advice/ reassurance regarding a G24 parking claim. My original post regarding the situation can be found here.
To summarise, I stopped my car on what i believed to be council double yellows on a public street with the intention to load, got out my car to look for signs regarding any rules etc, upon being unable to see anything certain, and noticing a tiny plaque, densley filled with difficult to read text talking about private land, I therfore got in my car and drove off. This all took maybe 60 seconds.
I received a notice for violating the contractual agreement several weeks later from G24. I followed advice on this forum regarding the appeals process etc, my argument being I was trying to find out the parking, there wasn't any clear signage, and at most I was well within the grace periods allowed for that, let alone the inadequate signage by G24.
G24 and DCB legal continued to harass and went through small claims, I completed "mediation" with the court, where they said they would kindly drop the claim if I paid them £10 less than their £270+ charge. I of course, rejected this.
I have now received a "notice of transfer of proceedings" to my local county court, awaiting a judges decision.
Any advice or help would be appreciated!
Cheers

- Is it likely that G24/DCB legal will drop the claim before the actual court date?
- If not, what do I need to do to prepare?
- Given the scenario, is it likely G24/DCB could win?
Any advice or help would be appreciated!
Cheers

1) definitely, usually just before the hearing fee must be paid, by email with an N279 document attachedUnfulfilled_Cake said:Hi all,

2) Witness Statement plus Exhibits bundle , also check if the hearing fee gets paid or not
3) I doubt that they would win in court, depending on which court it is, but more likely to discontinue beforehand and save the court fee2 -
Yep they will discontinue. Please show us the NoD when you get it on an email before the hearing fee is due to be paid by them.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
