Means it's a defence point if they sue. You'll never pay this unless a judge tells you to.

There's probably no point appealing because it's a farce but it is free and PCM might give up, so you can try.

You should definitely prioritise landowner complaint and push for cancellation because if you are quick the client does have that right in most PCM contracts I recall.

The sign contains a prohibited premium rate 'phone number that was banned over ten years ago. You should include that in all your complaints to the landowner, and your MP.

    Hello all,

I put a complaint in with my estate landlord as advised and they have come back saying that whilst I have a valid case; their process requires that I appeal the tickets with PCM first (give PCM and opportunity to consider and reject the appeal) before they can intervene.
I have tried to explain to them how unreasonable PCM are but they are sticking to policy.
As the PCN is addressed to the car owner, can I still appeal and how do I do this without disclosing my details please? I sincerely apologise if this sort of question may have been asked and answered in a different thread by others in the past please.

    Who issued the ticket?
Parking control management (pcm). They are the ones to whom we pay the annual parking permit charge as well.

    That rings alarm bells.
for the purpose of this question, ignore anything about permits, signs, payment for permits etc
What does your lease/rental/freehold/whatever documents you have associated with the property say about parking, do you have an allocated space/sapces or a parking area - such as a resident's car park on a first come first get basis
