Stuck in an 'Active Switch Order' between vodafone and talktalk

Hi, any advice appreciated please... crux of the issue is Vodafone say they cancelled my switch from TalkTalk (as I requested) but TalkTalk say the cancellation failed and they can't do anything with my account (including ending it) while there is an active switch order showing.

I cancelled the switch when TalkTalk gave me a good offer to stay. If TalkTalk are blameless in this i would stay with them for the 6months free they offered, but i have no idea if its them or Vodafone that are either lying or completely incompetent....

 Is there anyway i can find out independently exactly where the switch is up to? and can I really not quit TalkTalk while they say Vodafone still need to fully cancel the switch?
