  • This site is a honeytrap for them it, crops up on here time and time again, they must make a fortune that's why they have a muppet there permanently catching people.
The signage is deficient and has been for years, and as @Gr1pr states you were in an alleged no parking at any time area, so effectively trespassing not parking.
So there can be no offer of a contract, they cannot charge you a fee for trespass, if they don't want you in there they should install a barrier, cones or retractable bollards, or at the very least put up clear signage at the entrance. But none of this would make money, and I bet the landowner gets a cut from every successful PCN issued.
    I bet a fiver it's here:

    Yes spot on 👍🏽
  • Again a massive thank you to you all for taking the time to reply and putting my mind at ease with your wealth of knowledge.

Is that the place where the lurking person hid the sign behind a barrier then took photos from over the road? I recall that a few months back on another thread.

Complete trap that no judge would allow as an 'agreed contract'.

    Ignore them for now

Come back to this thread if or when you receive a Letter of Claim giving you 30 days notice,  or a Money Claim
    Afternoon all,

Just an update on this they haven’t issued a letter of claim but have involved a debt recovery company (trace).

IGNORE the powerless debt collectors letters
  • My apologies I’ll take a look now and make sure I only post when I receive a letter of claim

Afternoon all, just an addition to the debt collectors letters I’ve been receiving. Got another one which is on Post 4 ‘newbies’. Seems like they’re getting smarter by using Letter Before Claim.

That's their "short" letter of claim, seen a few times now on the forum

Guessing it’s not an actual letter of claim (prior to court), but just another way to chase the debt? In which case I don’t need to respond?

Apologies I know this company has appeared previously as one of the debt collectors to ignore. But it’s just confusing when it has letter before claim
