MSE 10 month Octopus fix for an existing Octopus customer - worth it?

    I switched on 2nd October and didn't think the switch had worked, I looked in my Octopus account app under the "View Tariff" section and it has changed to Money Saving Octopus.  It might be worth checking as Octopus did not notify me that the tariff had changed. The unit rates have all updated.

    You done this for gas only as an existing customer?, the saving is definitely interesting, but it looks like a lot of hoops to jump through,

    Yes I've had the same problem with octopus as an existing supplier. They answered e mail twice saying that mse had not reached out. As the saving is minimal I'm going to forget it BUT won't be staying.

    I changed from Tracker tariff to money saving octopus over a week ago. The switch was smooth, but my smart meters haven’t yet caught up, so I will have to send manual readings until they do.
