Barclays app

I phoned Barclays today. To my surprise they told me that I could only have the app set up to show the bank account on one device. I find that strange, as I do not have this restriction for other banks, or even for Barclaycard. But if that's the situation I can live with it.0

You’re talking about a business account though, right? It could be different for those versus personal accounts.danco said:I phoned Barclays today. The (personal) Barclays app can be set up on up to six devices.wmb194 said:

The latest information and advice, which I suspect is correct, is the following.
The account in question is a trustee account and this is regarded as a business account, even though it was set up personally and I am now the sole trustee. Barclays no longer provide such accounts.
It seems that moving from one phone to another makes it impossible to set up this account in the mobile app on my new phone. Unfortunately, due to following their advice, I have deleted the account from the Barclays app on my old phone, and I can't restore it.
The good news is that I currently have online access through a web browser, and hope this will remain. If so, there may be slight inconveniences with this, but probably nothing very much - I am hoping that the PIN Sentry reader will continue to work..0 -

I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0 -
Thanks, but I did not mean a physically working PIN sentry, I do have a spare. But given there unexpected change in behaviour, I consider it possible but unlikely that they will decide that PIN Sentry can't be used with that account online0
