Check the 8-steps in the template defence thread. Download a N180 from GOV.UK and fill it in and send by email to the address in the template defence thread; no need for any pictures. Plenty of advice on the forum about how to fill in the DQ.

    Hi all !
I have just had my mediation call with a very stern man who was not willing to compromise on price and was getting annoyed with me that I offered £0 he said they would see that as wanting to go to court. So I offered £5 and he said they would decline this and that is such a low price as they have now comes down to £220. I said I will not pay £220 as it is an absurd claim. I said I will go to £10 and no more and he said he will call me back at 11.45.

Please could you let me know if there’s any tips you have :)

Don't offer any more money! If he is intimidating and you feel he is on the side of the claimants, report him via scmreferrals@JUSTICE.gov.uk

They are supposed to be independent!

Tell Him, no offer, no compromise, I will see them in court, thank you, goodbye

  • I just had something similar. The mediator wasn't very impartial at all. Stand firm! fingers crossed for you
