Hide your car if you have one.
Don't answer the door if they come back. They can only make peaceful entry by putting their foot inside as soon as you open the door. If they do get in they'll threaten to take stuff, but practically nobody has much of value in their houses anymore because electronics are so cheap. So it's a hollow threat - they want cars nowadays.
Are you on benefits as court fees will be less or zero?Someone will be along with proper advice about next steps.3 -
Dont worry please this can be dealt with
This is immediate advise
Do you still own the car. If so go and park it away from the house. Do that when you read this.
If they call back then you simply do not let them in
They have no power of entry into domestic premises
Dont panic. Its all sortable but you dont need to be paying a penny
HCEO officers are easily dealt with.
Edit. You say a block. Is it a communal car park. If so and the car is different then you are OK car wise.3 -
Thank you, I'll do my b at to hide my car, its very old and needs to be jump started every time before use. I lost my job during COVID and it has been really difficult to find work again "doing an SIA" course so hopefully I'll get work once I havey license. But, yea I am on UC at th moment.Car1980 said:Hide your car if you have one.

Thank you, it's a communal car park and the car is the same. I'll move the car away just to be safe.ChirpyChicken said:Dont worry please this can be dealt with

Then you have nothing to worry about. They cant touch you . No matter what you read. I assume you are on some kind of buzzer system. Even better.2

I am on a buzzer system yes. Which offers some security I guess but they can just call the neighbours to let them in I suppose.ChirpyChicken said:Then you have nothing to worry about. They cant touch you . No matter what you read. I assume you are on some kind of buzzer system. Even better.

True so you dont open the door unless you know who it is.la531983 said:Or they just follow someone else in, its not foolproof.
You can look at getting this set aside and the warranty suspended. Shouldn't cost you anything as you will get help with fees due to being on UC
People will be along to assist with that part as I havent slept due to a long flight4 -
I know that. If its a communal building or complex though they could just easily follow another resident into the communal areas, that was the point.ChirpyChicken said:
