They dont even have this printer listed on the website anymore. I put the number into the search box and it came up as 'item not found'.. as did quite a few of the printers!

For the MP460 owners try this.
If you have a bluetooth USB dongle it may work with this printer.
I have a Targa one which I got with a Lidl PC I bought and it works fine plugged it in and paired the mp460 no problem with my nokia and my daughters nokia n95 phones.Saves buying the expensive Canon one .
This feature is great and printing pictures is really easy :T .

Also instructions for refilling mp460 cartridges here,

Hope this helps some of you

  • Why are there no compatible inks for this anymore? Has Canon put its foot down on IP?

I bought the ink refill kits from asda. The cartridges are easy to refill - the top pops off, inject the ink and sellotape the top back on (it doesn't have to be airtight).
  • I also bought this last year.

No problems with the printer but difficulties getting non- Canon cartridges to work.
I couldn't get theoriginals refilled and it wouldn't recognise non originals.
Cartridge World told me Canon had changed the software so you have to buy originals.
Emailed Canon in disgust as it makes it cheaper to replace the printer then the cartridges which is environmentally very irresponsible. No reply.
