Im confused by the post and all the comments (nothings the wrong way around) 🤔
OP - Your picture shows €100 will cost you £124.93 (so for each £1 you receive €0.80)I have a tendency to mute most posts so if your expecting me to respond you might be waiting along time!0

Haha, I doubt they are still there over two hours later and I was being sarcastic, if the rates were transposed then the answer is already on the screen!saajan_12 said:The way to tell would be to check the rate to switch the other way.
 1 GBP = 1.2493 Euro
Which means that as the current rate for the GBP is 1.1452 Euro then it is not as simple case of incorrect input.
It's just scalping by the ATM provider.0

Just on the subject of best rates for cash, I use my Santander UK debit card in Santander ATMs in Spain. No fees or commission but must refuse the Santander Spain rate and choose "own bank" rate (i.e. Santander UK.
Have other UK banks similar arrangements?0

Spain has become harder and harder as nearly all banks there now charge non-EU/Spanish cards withdrawal fees, and they are often expensive (I think Santander are €7 if it's not a Santander card!).cantbelieveit23 said:Just on the subject of best rates for cash, I use my Santander UK debit card in Santander ATMs in Spain. There's plenty of UK accounts who don't charge commission or fees, but they can't control the overseas ATM operator's charge. Until recently Banco March were the recommended one in Spain, but I believe they've started charging too. I recently withdrew fee-free from ABanca although I don't think they're widespread in tourist areas.
Having a UK Santander account is the best option for Spain.1
