This place looks genuine too. I think it's a designer boutique based in Yorkshire.

10% off all Uggs at the moment0 -
These guides are good, but I wouldn't follow them 100%. Some of the things they mention are not completely true.
In particular, the author of this reviewer says a giveaway for fake Uggs is "the smell of paint/lacquer". I've just had a new pair of Grey Uggs from ASOS (obviously genuine) but they have a very strong smell to them at the moment (it wears off after a bit). It must by the dye Deckers use to colour the boots and the sheepskin?
Also, while it is true that Deckers now produce their Uggs in China, there was a time some years back when some Uggs were produced in Aus and NZ... Obviously it's a dead giveaway if one of the new colours like grey or Leopard have been made in Aus, because they are now made in China. But there is a very small chance some of the older colours like Sand or Chestnut could have been made in Aus/NZ and are still genuine Deckers.0 -
I bought a lovely pair of black sheepskin boots at Costco last night - £19.99 + vat. Really warm and snuggly, but of course they don't have the word Ugg on the back, I'll chuck 'em in the bin then.0

Shudoo just e-mailed me saying they've given me a full refund as the boots I've ordered are out of stock
Im gutted...they're out of stock everywhere, should have known it was too good to be true that they had them as "in stock" on the website!
Tried cloggs.co.uk, but they're not getting more stock in until 30/09/08 now...0 -

Why?
There are plenty of bargains to be had with other brands of Ugg boots, the point of this thread is to 1. Stop people who are buying the Ugg Australia brand being ripped off with fake boots 2. Try and help others find the best possible price on them. The previous Ugg thread shows there is a massive demand for this label above any others and there were so many posts from people who were unfortunate enough to lose a lot of money buying fakes or never even receiving a pair of boots. Some people only want that Ugg label, or are searching for a pair as a gift for a family member who specifically wants Ugg Australia boots. They want to get the actual brand they are paying out for not an inferior copy.
I know of several good quality brands for anyone who is not label conscious and I as well as many other members here are happy to recommend these to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative.0 -
