Just as a matter of interest to those reading who might find themselves in this position in the future -

This happened to me in an Aldi car park. I knew I was likely to overstay so I went back into the store and explained it to the manager. He gave me his name and contact number in case I got a parking ticket.

Fortunately, I didn’t need it, probably because my car left on top of a breakdown vehicle.

To confirm the car did not exit on a repair truck,

To confirm the car did not exit on a repair truck,
But the point this poster was making was that this is what you should have done to exempt your vehicle on the day.

So just appeal with that evidence.

Have you contacted the shop you visited in the retail park to see if they can get it cancelled?

No, there are many and i dont recall now which one i went in (happened weeks ago)
If it's a multi-outlet retail park, there will be a managing agent responsible for hiring the parking firm. Find out which one (some are very helpful) and explain your situation.

Which retail park (we may have seen it here before)?

Which parking firm is chasing you?

    euro car parks

Typically what evidence do you need when trying to appeal this online?

and the car would not start. I had to leave it over night and then after the breakdown came the next morning I exited the car park.
That evidence would be your call to the breakdown and their attendance.

Do I appeal first via eurocarparks appeal process (I have checked on their website and much personal information is required) or send the "Blue template" that is talked about in the main thread?
