*** Breakdown and PCN ***

Hello
I parked my car at a retail park. I came back to it and the car would not start. I had to leave it over night and then after the breakdown came the next morning I exited the car park.
I have received a PCN. Saying I exited after 17 hours....
How do I get out of this?
regards

Have you contacted the shop you visited in the retail park to see if they can get it cancelled?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. If you left the car in the car park overnight then it sounds like 17 hours might be accurate.0

This happened to me in an Aldi car park. I knew I was likely to overstay so I went back into the store and explained it to the manager. He gave me his name and contact number in case I got a parking ticket.
Fortunately, I didn’t need it, probably because my car left on top of a breakdown vehicle.

Annex F of the joint COP states (and I think charging £20 is still ridiculous, but they might say it covers admin):F.3 Appeals where the charge should be reduced to £20 for a period of
14 days.
c) where the vehicle has broken down
