Hoping for help as I find this all a minefield! My 2 children (young teenagers) and I need new phone contracts. We’re coming to the end of our contract with O2 as I was foolishly tempted by O2 priority however the signal is absolutely dire where we live and surrounding area.
We need around 20-30Gb each a month and would like free EU roaming.

Significantly I would also prefer a contract where I have control and they have their own contracts under my account.
Thinking on Voda or at a push EE network for our most reliable signals.
Any advice gratefully received thank you 🙏

We use ID mobile on Three network. Our data varies but I have 50gb per month for £8. Free roaming.
U18s can't have their own contracts so I control them all.0 -

Depends how organised you are and much work you want to put onto it. Lebara are on the Vodafone network and currently have 50gb for 2.90 a month for six months.
When I was looking after my children's plans I would handle the switching etc to move when the offer expired. Last time I temporarily moved their numbers to another provider for 1 month at a cost of 2.99 and then switched the numbers back to the latest Lebara deal at the time.1 -

Smarty (on Three) - first account is charged at standard rate but any account added to the group gets 10% off.
1p Mobile (on EE) - all accounts charged at standard rate, unless you use the multi offer on unlimited sims, but group management is easy enough.
TalkMobile (on Vodafone) - as with 1p, all accounts charged at standard rate. However, if when online ordering the sims you use the same email and password each time, it will group them all together under the one online account (it doesn't actually say anything about this on the TalkMobile website, I only found out by accident it could be done, but it works).
Bearing in mind we're on MSE, don't forget to go via a comparison site/page - there is, as you might expect, one on here https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cheap-mobile-finder/sim-only/ (then click on all deals) - that way you should only be paying around £8-10 per sim regardless of who you go with, and on 30 day minimum term too.0
