Is anyone using a powerstation as a home battery for savings with Economy 7?

I have been watching Will Prowse and I am really tempted to do something like this, but I don't see anyone in the UK with this set up. This set up works out so much cheaper than a power station.
It was suggested back on page 1 of this thread that power stations weren't the best value-for-money option, but we failed to convince you. I'm glad that you're seeing the light now :)

Yes, I was as looking at a Victron system and panicking. I know so much more now. I still look at Victron and panic though. I couldn't imagine takiing something homemade camping, so now that is sorted, I can see other possibilities, like only paying the electricity standing charge for a few months in the summer.
Although, the hand cart built looks really simple, I would still like to see that someone has done it in the UK.

unless zero SC tariffs become a reality, then you won't be able to pick and choose when you pay it.
