Unfortunately the battery isn't the problem now it seems. I've looked in Kuga Facebook pages today and people have had similar issues and could be fuel filters, fuel lines, glow plugs, relays. Could be any of them but would never be able to narrow it down. It'd be another trip to the garage, but the place I bought it from aren't willing to put more money into it.Baldytyke88 said:p00hsticks said:I think the Ford GEM ( General Electronic Module) is basically the computer that controls the various electronic components in the car.
From our experience with a brand new Ford Fiesta, there seem to be an awful lot of electronic components that remain working even when the car is off and garaged - we had a flat battery soon after we bought it after the car had been garaged for a few days, and now regularly charge it if it's not been used for a decent run for more than a week or so.
Or if it's left parked outside, a solar charger might work for the OP?
Does anyone know my rights for getting a refund? How would I start this...?0 -

I didn't even mean it, I'm just natural comedic value 😜 Yeah battery is fine, it's as it should be for a brand new fitted one.born_again said:
