Why is nobody telling this poster to just win it at POPLA by using the usual no keeper liability argument? Cannot lose v APCOA.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    or this one?:

his is an appeal by the registered keeper - No driver details will be given. Please do not bother with your known fishing expedition in an attempt to get driver details to try and get around the fact there is no keeper liability (and never can be under POFA).

Due to this being airport land you will be well aware there is no keeper liability due to the byelaws in force and the fact this is not relevant land.

As there is no keeper liability then liability cannot flow from the driver to the keeper and thus is an auto win @ POPLA. Please therefore cancel the notice or issue a POPLA code where you will auto withdraw

If you waste your time asking for driver details this will be ignored and you will still lose at POPLA if you dont cancel the PCN

So let's save my time and yours and cancel this PCN you simply cannot win this (and you know it).
This worked for me last week, thanks for sharing

I just wanted to thank this forum and all those in it. I got forced into the Manchester T2 pick up and drop off lane when collecting my sister from the airport last month. I never parked up and continued to follow the traffic that had done the same thing, I was clocked at 3 minutes and threatened with a £100 pound fine for the pleasure.

The fine didn't sit right with me as I have my own set of moral principles and live in a democratic and free country, I decided I wouldn't be coerced into handing over my hard earned money to an unscrupulous parking company who pray on people under duress.

I followed the groups latest sticky to the letter, waited a couple of weeks and received a letter this morning cancelling the charge.

Thank you for the knowledge, I hope others who are genuine and did nothing wrong read up on this issue and get their charge cancelled.

Nice one.  Easy when you know how.:)
