    Yes that jumped out at me too. Though I must admit I’ve just had a quick look @ their web pages on ISAs to check for any misplaced apostrophes. Didn’t find any👏🏻

    This was an example in a recent genuine letter from the Co-op Bank, so they have had apostrophe issues in the past (they have since corrected this one, as I got the same letter a few months later).

    The triple variations on the bank's name is possibly deliberate - it weeds out people on the ball who see the errors and realise they're reading a scam letter. That way the fraudsters whittle their client list down to the more gullible / less attentive cohort, so can focus their efforts more directly.

    I agree this is quite unusual, and that there are relatively few clues in the letter to indicate that it might be scam. The typo in the name "co-operative Bank" rather "Co-operative Bank" is one, and the other is the time-limited nature of the offer (which therefore neeed the receiver to take immediate action without having the time to consider the wisdom of doing so). You have posted this on 19th September 2025, and yet the offer expires on 15th September 2025, so I expect you didn't have it for very long before the offer expired.

    Apart from that (and the lack of a signatory for Co-op Bank) there are no clues, and it could easily catch someone out. Well done for reporting it here and to the bank.
    Has anybody mentioned "TO APPLY, EMAIL: APPLY@RAISINCLIENTS.COM"?
    I think this clue is good enough on its own.

    Unfortunately, I've seen enough genuine communications from banks that give a different domain for contact than their main, obvious, one that that address would only be a minor clue.

    Surely the interest rate offered is a huge clue

    I agree with what you say regarding domain names and yes, lot of folks finding little clues but to be fair a lot of folks could be tripped up with this. It's all too easy when you know this is a scam to find errors but when it lands on the door step that's a different story for some.

    The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
    I listen all night for your step on the stair.

    "Dear Valued Client" is a tell from the outset.
  • Yep! Got caught. Message from Royal Mail informing me that postage paid wasn’t enough so paid up another £1.50 to cover shortage.
