KFC- Bad service

I recently went into the drive thru at KFC in Plymouth with my Fiancee and my kids, the level of service was disgusting, from a rude person taking our order, the person serving us was rude, obnoxious and looked so untidy and unhygenic, then to top it off they got our order wrong, and provided no forks for the coleslaw and beans ( guess u eat it with ur fingers) and no freshen up wipes!! this is not the 1st time its happened to us and im sure its not the last....just had to get it off my chest!!!

I have been "served" in KFC by someone who had cut their finger and the blood dripped on to my chicken:eek: When I pointed it out to him he replied with "dont worry it will be allright.. it does not hurt!" You could not make it up! I had to actually SUGGEST that he put a plaster on it!! When he went to do so a different staff member replaces my bl**dy chicken..I asked for some hot water to make my babies bottle and was told they could not give me hot water for Health and Safety reasons!!! Even after pointing out that blood dripping on my chicken was more of a health risk they still would not budge-they said I could however purchase a cup of tea and take the tea bag out to make the bottle!!!!!!! If it did not tast so absolutely delicious I would not ever go back...! KFC service sucks! KFC chicken.. mmmmmmm!

exactly how i feel sarahlouise, the service sucks majorly, but the food is delicious(without blood tho).....

If the beans ended up on your chest perhaps they'll pay for your dry cleaning?

I know they should not be rude to you.

But do you realise how much these people earn. Min wage so why should they care. I would not for min wage.

I would be a bit peeved if they where rude but then I would never eat at KFC unless it was the only place in a 100 miles as the food is cheap and gross. Had KFC in oz and it was so gross I was nearly sick after and had to leave most of it.

Now if I was paying a £100 for a meal somewhere and they where rude then I would kick up a stink.

It is a case you get what you pay for.

Newunk, you don't say whether you stopped the car and went inside the KFC branch to complain.

If you look in the 5 Star Service board, you'll see a thread I started about McDonalds. It's a similar story to yours but mine had a happy ending.

How did yours end? Did you complain and demand recompense?

Well... I have thought myself that the staff at KFC are paid the minimum wage but so are many others who do bother to be civil and give good service. I would not be able to be rude in my job whether I was paid £4.00 or £400 per hour - you are what you are.. surely most people do not behave badly just because they are not being paid a good houry rate!Do you think if the staff at KFC started to receive £10.00 per hour the service would change overnight? I know that low wages cause bad self esteem.. but the minimum wage has brought choice to even the lowest paid jobs-dont like the one you have move to another on the same wage. When I visit anywhere I expect good manners and good customer service-it does not matter if I am in KFC or Harrods. If you have only tried KFC once then perhaps you had a bad experience as KFC is undoubtably delicious.......:drool: ..in fact I may even consider working for them to get a staff discount:rotfl:

Our local KFC has gone downhill since they were taken over, tiny portions, poor English so dont understand the difference between Sour Cream dip and Sweet and Sour, cold chips and a friend of mine went in there a couple of weeks ago to see them defrosting the chicken under a running tap - not only a heath hazard but here in Kent we have a water shortage! When she pointed it out they just said "Oh, we have to run it under the tap for about an hour"

Needless to say dont bother with it anymore!
