  • Thanks everyone for the advice.
I'm going for Lebara... £35 GB... Going to wait til tomorrow in case Black Friday deal gives me a little extra.
Going to go Physical SIM.... because im not sure my old Iphone 12 mini will take e-sim....

One final Question.... If i go physical SIM, and i buy it tomorrow, i'll need to wait a few days for the SIM to be delivered.... and im away next week... so ..... will i be without phone coverage... or do i select a "port date" or something like that so im not without phone coverage?

    thanks
  • When you give the PAC to Lebara they should give you a choice of port dates, try not to make it a Friday, if anything goes wrong nothing can be done before Monday.

    Yes you do.

Get the Lebara SIM, get it into YOUR phone and make sure it's all working (coverage, Wi-fi Calling, 4G Calling etc) BEFORE you give them the PAC.

Paying for two services for a day or so is a small price to pay to make sure you are not transferring to a dead or dud service.

Thanks All - i do fancy going with Lebara (especially as uses Vodafone. 3 isnt so good in my area according to the post code checker).

@steven141 - I can't see that offer on the Lebara website - can you direct me to it please? maybe you've seen the offer on another page? I can see 30GB, uk unlimited mins and texts, 100 international mins - which is more than enough... but if i can get it under £10, even better.
Mind you that is for 30 day plan.
    thanks

im really keen for a 12 month or 24 month deal - really dont want 30 days. cant be bothered with hassle of having to sort it out every month.

    thanks
Sorry just caught up but glad you found it. You have to wait for the sim to be delivered and then provide the pac once activated. It usually takes 1 working day but if you requested today before 5pm it would be Monday.

Bit of a disaster on this one... I applied for the attached offer on Black Friday.
I then went away Sunday til Today - so was expecting to see a SIM had been delivered.
    However, there wasnt one...

So i contacted Lebara who have said, despite there being an order number, the order didnt go through... not authorised by my bank apparently...

They are unwilling to honour the deal, as they say its a 3rd party offer.

Any advice please on how i can get a better deal..... AGAIN !

The same plan is a bit dearer for months 1-8 but it's still excellent value.

    Months 1-8 £4.40/mth Thereafter £6.90/mth
