Ryanair delayed flight Expenses not refunded

zhouzhousmama (I hope you're still reading this thread) I was also on that flight and can fully sympathise with everything you have said. I was also told that Ryanair staff would sort out accommodation which never happened, so I found a hotel room myself. The ground crew person did say we could do this and reclaim the cost off Ryanair.
I put in a claim for the delay and like yourself was swiftly told it was due to a bird strike and as such it was refused. Fair enough. But the claim for the hotel was separate to this and it doesn't sound like you've done that. I submitted mine 7 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for the outcome.0
