... I presume EDs means Everyday Current Account ... you may want to keep your most recent, i.e. the £25 VoucherSent is riding on.@danny13579 said:
I have a lot of accounts with them that are never used. 2 Edge Currents and Savers, 3 EDs. Only the 2 Savers are used. So 7 at present.dealyboy said:Hi Danny ... I also was declined, but I think in my case it is because I have too many accounts, nine including three ECAs. I have just requested the two oldest of these 'redundant' accounts be closed (it can take five days) and then I will try again.
Others such as their ISA and their higher interest savings accounts which are no longer worth having I've already closed.
I think I'll close the 3 EDs today and try again in a week. See how it goes.0 -
Yes, Everyday Current Account. I kept the one for the £25 gift card open and requested closure of the other 2 via Sandi. Once I get the gift card I'll close that one as well. Not sure it will make any difference with getting declined, but will give it a try.dealyboy said:... I'm confused and need help about this discussion. I already have an Everyday current account (previously known as 123). Would opening an Edge account make me eligible for the £30 Amazon Voucher? I can't find the answer. Thanks!0

Yes, once you follow the link (posted earlier in this thread) and are accepted for an Edge account by Santander.cisko65 said:I'm confused and need help about this discussion. Weeks, usually. Your confirmation email from VoucherSent will tell you the latest date by which you should have received your voucher code. If you don't have such an email (checked your spam?), something went very wrong and you won't get the voucher.0 -
If (and it's a big if!) your application correctly tracked you should receive an email from VoucherSent between Monday 17th November 2025 and Thursday 1st December 2025.SFCooper said:How long does it take to receive the voucher once approved?
You have 30 days to claim the gift card from when you get the email.
If your application didn't correctly track, then you need to raise a claim in December for it. This is usually a long, drawn out process but once you persist with them and pester them relentlessly you should get your gift card.
For their previous offer they're due to sent out emails from 25th September so keep an eye out on that to see what to expect. They're very amateurish and their customer support is poor.0 -
£30 Amazon + £15 ( I think choice of rewards including Amazon) from Moneysupermarket + £15 referral, link got via Social Media for opening Everyday account

Update: I closed 2 of the 3 Everyday Current Accounts and waited a week. Just applied again for an Everyday Current Account and was accepted! 🤷♂️dealyboy said:Hi Danny ... Will now close the third Everyday Current Account as I needed to wait to get the £25 Amazon voucher from the last offer before I could do this.2 -
Good thinking, I also need to close a few Santander accounts, to make room for new ones…..1
