Oh and I am risking that the sale starts tomorrow in Watford. If not I will just have to go again on Tuesday! Was in there on Friday and there was loads left at 50% so hoping for a good shop! Last January I remember I had to make a trip back to the car with my hoard and go back for another shop! Fingers crossed it's the same this year!

Can i just ask have you been into the boots store in Richmond lately? I don't often shop in Richmond so i'm not sure what that store is like, if it has toys or loads of stock left?
    Thanks

Alot of the people my husband spoke to seemed annoyed he was asking them when the 75% sale started  I don't understand what their problem is.

Yep - I've had the same response from the local ones I've rung to ask. None would give me an answer & just sounded really p***** off that I dared to ask. I can't understand what their problem is either - not very good PR!
It's not as though it's a charity give-away - they're having a Sale to get rid of their over-stocks & get their money back on the goods. You'd think they'd be happy to get rid of the stuff! I feel a lot of the Boots staff are on a mission these days!
  • Im sooo excited, its my first boots 75% off sale:D ive got butterflies!!!:o :rotfl:

My informant who works there said 75% starts Tuesday. I asked in a store yesterday and 3 of them said "WE HAVE NO IDEA" in a patronising antagonised way. Collared a nice foreign lady who was working there and she said "Tuesday".. god bless her!
Are you a Brightonian by any chance? I asked today and the sa said they don't know and they are all waiting to find out too. This was at 3.30, I would have thought they would need to start preparing displays before they close if it starts tomorrow, although they were filling shelves with gifts, it looked as though they had never sold a thing!! Shelves were groaning!:T
Trying to persuade DH to be late to work so that i don't have to take my twins aged 2 in with me, I think I deserve at least 1 hour in the Boots sale:rotfl: .
  • oh oh oh my darling partner has decided i have spent to much already on boots .com and has picked up extra shifts for tomorrow and tuesday which means i have to wait for boots deliveries before i can go out oh oho h

squoog - nope not in Brighton sorry :( sounds like there will be plenty. I won't be heart broken if I miss it, but will probably think "darn it" to myself. And what the hell will I spend £126 in points on if its not the 75% off sale?!!?!?LOL!

The last Jan one was excellent! I bought great big coffee sets (with mug, frother, chocolate shaker etc) for £2.50 which I have just given as teacher Xmas gifts! Bought loads of stuff to put away as gifts
