hope the sale starts tomorrow because I really fancy the paper weaving set-i missed it online and don't mind paying £5ish for it-I can give it to my 7 year old niece if it turns out to be a nightmare. Also would love
Breakfast in bed set, sanctuary, some men gifts to keep for dad, brothers and hubsy, mango delirium and bits of no7 as spare gifts for friends, sis in law pressy etc.I treated myself to most of the perfumes I wanted with points on the 50% sale. Can't wait-Have sorted my handbag for tomorrow, ironed my clothes and arranged a lift-Told Oh that I have a doctors appointment.!
    Love can tame the wildest
  • i got the main ones i wanted in the 50% sale on boxing day but wonder how likely it will be that they will go down again, esp if they have xmassy packaging? there is a far amount left at my local store.

I will be desperately checking this thread tomorrow to see if the sale starts and planning to go after work if if it does! i got really lucky in the summer sales tommy hilfiger jeans men £5, christian lacriox bazaar £5 amor amor shower gels £2.50 i could go on. tempting to buy the lot but restrained myself as i am saving up for a new kitchen and am terrible beauty addict and horder as it is. you should see my avon stash. actually, maybe not as its taking over!
  • im getting oh to call slough boots in the morning:D (hope its tuesday though)

:rotfl: Just laughing as we are all the same! :rotfl: ... i feel so much better now. Sonee have to laugh at you even arranging which handbag to use etc.. :T

In fairness and in our defence. The sales are like the highlights in the 'bootsers' (is that the right word) yearly calendar so no wonder we all go a bit ga ga and are getting all stressed over which day it is.. It's no good missing bargains!

My husband keeps saying now ive admitted the problem im on the road to recovery ;)

..p.s, sorry for all the chat..im off to do my hair now.

LOL, woe is me. I went to buy OH a small gift for his birthday and saw the Burberry gift set and thought it's over £20 quid (£20.66) so will use the 150 pointer, to my dismay, it came up at £19.33 or something irritating like that, and the SA was so happy for me, thinking I'd got such a huge discount! (lmao) and there I was with a face like a wet weekend cos I couldn't get to use my 150 point coupon! LOL.

My 9yr old daughter got the paper weaving thing and I have to say it is rubbish! It is really tricky to do, involves lots of preparation to the paper before you even begin to weave! We had a go once but I don't honestly see us doing it again! I certainly wouldn't want to pay more than £5 for it but having said that it would look like you were giving a nice gift.
There's a skinny woman inside me screaming to be let out. A cookie soon shuts her up!!! :rotfl:
