Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 14 - Post your finds here

Hi pkyts
i felt your pain after reading your post and was so mad at your DH. Since he has so much money perhaps next time you buy something at a bargain price for him you should charge him at normal full price. After all he's told you he doesn't mind.
I have to admit my wardrobe is jammed packed with stuff and several other cupboards, units around the house. Thankfully we have a reasonable amount of space.
DH makes the very occasional comment of my clutter but he knows I work hard - full time and still look after ds and do most of the housework etc so I'd probably tell him where to go.
Alot of the stuff I buy are presents to put away for him anyway which is always thoughtful and he loves. He benefits from getting twice the amount of stuff compared with paying full price. It's that or I could be like his miserable sister who gives him a £10 overpriced fcuk gift set that she got on 3 for 2 for his X'mas present.Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)

I have bought 6 bottles under this offer and every one has caused problems.
Ended up with irate SA looking at voucher, looking at bottle, then back to voucher, then glaring at me. I have had to point out every time that it is the correct size. Then waited until either they overode it, or got someone else to do it.
It appears to be a national problem, it's frustrating for the SA and also for the customer, and the queue behind us.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -

But try to look at it from OHs perspective...you're spending lots of money which means less money on something else, filling up the house with lots of toys the children don't necessarily need and he only found out about this latest delivery because he was at home to see it arrive.
Be honest and objective-how would you feel if the shoe was on the other foot? If your friends think you spend and shop too much, is it possible they're right? You're describing that you were going to hide the presents...sounds like he's already voiced his objections to the spending?
From personal experience I went Boots mad in 2005, buying gift bags to get extra points towards a pushchair. Gift bags are small and don't take up much room and my OH got so fed up with them. I also bought quite a few toiletries as "they were a real bargain and presents for friends all through the year" But they took up so much space, which we didn't have plus there's only so many of the same present you can give out and you certainly can't give them the same gift twice, so we still actually have toiletries I bought in 2005:eek: Currently trying to make more friends that I can give them too:rolleyes:
I really hope you sort things with your OH and find a solution which leaves you both happy. Maybe a good compromise is to ask OH to tolerate this recent shopping spree, but promise him you won't buy anymore? Could that work for you both?
soz about the dark print dont know how I did it.
Thanks also to all the gals that have very kindly sent me ACM coupons and other vouchers without wanting anything back you all know who you are. You lot are a great bunch of gals.
Oh someone on here really wanted a blue no 7 gwp bag really badly can't remember who it was and this post is too huge. Anyway had them on sale in my Boots yesterday for £1.76. So I got one if the person who wanted one will pm me I will send it for that price plus whatever the postage price.
I now have all the smellies and hair thingees covered with a joking suede cloth in my bay window trying to make it look inconspicious with all the lumpees.
