Samsung J5: refurb replacement options

I have a Samsung J5 2016 with a Tesco Mobile PAYG SIM.
I use it for calls, texts and the occasional web browse via Wi-Fi.
I really like the phone, it is indestructible, small and light. But I'm not sure it will support G4 -- I did not receive the Government warning message!
My Settings say 2G/3G/LTE. No mention of 4G.

Thinking of buying a more recent Samsung from a refurb shop such as CeX. Up to 150 pounds.
Any suggestions of models to look out for?
IMPORTANT: Must have a small screen, similar to the J5. I hate the modern trend for larger screens and bulky phones...

LTE is indeed 4G, but not voice over 4G.

Doesn't matter since this phone will fall back to 2G for voice (may already have done so, depending on where it is used).

I'd carry on using it for as long as it works, with the proviso that it isn't getting security updates any more so I wouldn't be using it to access anything financial or sensitive.

You'll find it hard to find a more modern phone that isn't considerably larger.

If so, then maybe the J5 will last me a bit longer...

Actually, I suspect the reason why I didn't receive the Government warning message was because the phone has an old version of Android (7.1) .
So I would still welcome suggestions of more modern replacements.

No one do budget smart phone with small size anymore.
    2016 Samsung J5 145.8 x 72.3 x 8.1 mm

    New £150 Motorola Edge 50 Neo worth a look. 154.1 x 71.2 x 8.1 mm

Used Apple iPhone SE 2022 might be the one you need for your budget.
